Customers agree to the following conditions upon the placement and/or completion of any order: If the furniture you wish to buy is not in our store at the time of your purchase the normal delivery time for unfinished or finished furniture is about 6 weeks or less. Please know that we do not finish furniture at our store location. We will work as efficiently as possible to ensure that your order is completed in less time than that. If your furniture order takes longer than 6 weeks to be received in our store, then we retain and reserve the right to ensure completion of your order within a reasonable amount of time. We also retain and reserve the right to retain any and/or all deposits made on special ordered furniture with such special order placed through us is cancelled in order to defer our handling and restocking fees and shipping costs. Our manufacturers recognize that your special furniture orders are important and we, as well as they, take every precaution to ensure that the quality of your furniture is the best. In the event you are not satisfied with the furniture quality we retain and reserve the right to work to correct this situation. With respect to shipping, you hereby agree to and understand that we use third party shipping companies and such companies have access to personal information as necessary to perform their duties in getting your furniture to its location. We take all safeguards within our power to ensure that such third parties do not use this information for any other reason. Additionally, we may be obligated by law to release certain account and/or personal information when and if situations warrant such. Further, release of same may be made in order to apply and/or enforce our conditions of use and/or other agreements, or to protect the property, rights, or safety of our store, our users and/or others. This includes, but is not limited to, the exchange of information with other companies or organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Other than those reasons as set forth hereinabove and only with your consent you will be notified when your personal information may be shared with third parties. Freight Shipment Guidelines: If your order is shipped via freight, the delivery driver is ONLY required to deliver your order via “Curbside” and is NOT required to enter your house or company, to unpack or set up your furniture. The Driver is to ONLY enter your carport or garage. If inside delivery is needed please let us know prior to shipping so that we can make arrangements for this service, as all delivery companies charge extra for this. On occasion a driver may offer this service to you, or may be asked to bring items inside, if this happens, PLEASE NOTE that we will charge your credit card for any additional fees passed onto to us by the shipping company. If you have an occasion where you need to cancel an order you are required to notify us by email at reply@unfinishedfurnitureofcottagehill.com and by phone at: 251-660-8291. You are hereby notified that if you do cancel an order fees may be applied against you and/or your paid deposits once your order has already been shipped. With respect to returns you are hereby notified that all returns require a Returns Authorization Number (RAN) and will NOT be accepted without such number. You are required, and you hereby agree, to notify us within seven (7) days of receipt of your shipment if you wish to return an item or items. You may return any product purchased for a full refund LESS any shipping costs involved unless and except the reason for said return is an error made by us or is authorized beforehand. If said return is made at your discretion and is not related to an error by us you understand and agree that you will be responsible for all shipping fees involved. ALL returns, unless otherwise agreed to by us, will be subject to the above stated restocking and handling fees and will vary depending upon the item being returned. Purchased items are not eligible for return if the item or items are in an unsellable condition and/or are missing parts, and/or are damaged. We will notify you by email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Your refund will be made using the same form of payment you originally used to purchase said item(s) within 7-14 business days of our receiving your return. You will be provided full return instructions with the RAN as referenced above. All payments are due in advance with a 50% deposit required for any special orders, and are to be made by check, cash, or credit card. Products advertised and available on Unfinished Furniture of Cottage Hill’s website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of our website or the information, content, materials, or products included on this site. You expressly and voluntarily agree that the use of this website is at your sole risk.
